Itinerary


DAY ONE 

Welcome to the Big Easy! We will depart from JFK and once we arrive at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, we will take a private shuttle to our hotel to check in. At 2pm we will take a New Orleans Guided Food Walking Tour of the French Quarter. We will stop by some of the French Quarter’s most famous restaurants for some of the area’s most delicious food. Enjoy tastings that could include seafood gumbo, Creole brisket, and beignets. Learn fun facts from our guide as we walk along the city streets.  After our tour, we will enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.

DAY TWO


After breakfast, we will head out for a sightseeing bus tour. We will explore beyond the beauty of the French Quarter to see other neighborhoods including the Garden District, Treme, and the 9th Ward. Learn about city culture and history as we travel along Frenchmen Street, Esplanade Avenue, and more. After the tour, we will have lunch and then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

DAY THREE 


After breakfast, we will have the morning at leisure. Then at 2 pm, we will explore the rich culinary history of New Orleans on a tour that combines a cooking class with a French Quarter cocktail tour. First, we will learn about the basics of Louisiana cuisine from a professional chef during an entertaining demonstration, then sample classics such as jambalaya, gumbo, and pralines. 


When the cooking class ends, we will have a few minutes to shop in the General Store before our tour guide arrives at the School to pick us up for the second part of our tour. We will admire the architecture of the French Quarter as we stroll through the neighborhood, stopping in historic bars to sip the Big Easy’s most celebrated cocktails. We'll discover the flavors and culture of New Orleans during this fun and informative tour! Three drinks are included in the price.

DAY FOUR - GOODBYE

After a scrumptious last breakfast, we’ll travel as a group to the airport, where we’ll say au revoir! It’s sadly time to go home.

  • What is the refund policy for this trip?

    All deposits and payments are nonrefundable because we are using your payments to purchase non-refundable items such as your flights, tours, etc. We strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance in case you need to cancel. Please contact us for an insurance quote.

  • What happens if I miss a payment plan payment?

    The payment plan was designed so that we can purchase items on your behalf in a certain manner. If you miss a payment, we may not have enough in your account to purchase your flights, tours, etc. If that is the case, we have to wait until we receive your payments and prices can increase in that time. If it does, you are responsible for the additional cost.

  • Are kids allowed?

    This trip is recommended for anyone over the age of 12.

  • Can I arrive earlier or stay later than the recommended dates?

  • What if I'm not flying from NY?
